It’s All About the Brows

Great eyebrows are to the face, as a perfect picture frame and matting are to a painting or photo; they frame the face.

The hottest trend for 2015 has been thicker, fuller and bold eyebrows with a slight arch. To get this hot look you may need to grow your eyebrows fully before you see us for a brow design appointment.

Though we are all tempted, put away the tweezers… never, ever shape your own brows. Plucking an occasional stray is fine, but when you attempt to shape your own eyebrows, you seldom achieve the shape you desire. It can be tricky to get both eyebrows even and at the right arch. See a professional for your desired look.  A six week period of absolutely NO plucking is ideal prior to having a professional brow design.

Your hair grows in three different cycles in nine months. It goes into a resting stage for two to three months every year. The hair you tweeze today, may take up to six months to grow back.

Depending on the desired shape of your eyebrows, your esthetician or can advise you which hairs should be left untouched.

If brows are sparse and you’d like to thicken them up, apply a couple of drops of Coconut oil or Vitamin E oil every night before you go to bed. This application can help to stimulate the growth of your brows.

Our August Back-To-School promotion saves you money on brow design!!  Get a free brow design with Signature Spa facial.

And because it’s a “Back to School – Double Major!” promotion, we’re also offering a free blow dry and style with a back to school haircut (any age).

Both offers are good through August  31, 2015 at both of our two locations.  If you’re in need of other hair, nail, or skin services, see our complete salon and spa menu here for our super affordable services.
